We Are Not Trying To Say Our Way Is Better

However, we would like to flatly state that we are NOT saying that we are “better” or more effective than the “churches” who imitate that type of practice. It is simply not something which we believe is the best way for us to help people live their lives in harmony or help others who are in need. It is a basic, but clear distinction which is not so much involving “what” we believe, but more importantly about “how” we chose to live our beliefs.

We are not against other churches who flatly state their belief through some sort of agreed upon “Statement of Faith.” However, for us, since no two people have ever believed exactly the same things, (even if they have taken the time to publish something which they consider to be their “Common Beliefs”) and since peoples’ spiritual beliefs have historically been one of the single most divisive elements of the world’s societies – in total being the initial causes of more wars than any other single element – we chose to “share” instead that we respect and affirm each person’s right to believe and practice whatever spiritual ideals they may hold.

In everything that we try to do we strive to do so with respect and affirmation of each other rather than trying to tell anyone what they should believe. Therefore, you might say that our single so-called “Statement of Faith” is that, “We believe that each person has the right to believe whatever they wish to believe with regards to any spiritual or human beliefs. While the facilitators of our group may have come from more traditional backgrounds, our purpose is to not facilitate personal and individual spiritual experiences which any one can enjoy on their own terms.
